The ancient Greeks measured time in two ways, they used the word CHRONOS to measure seconds, minutes, hours and years. It was chronological. The second word they used, KAIROS, measured the right moment or the significant moment, it could not be defined chronologically, it’s impact was deeper, and like TRAUMA, it encompasses experience, opportunity, significance and imprints on our past, present and future all at the same time.
We found this fitting because trauma represents a significant event/events in the life of a person.
